Glass Studio Rentals

Hot Shop Rental
$35/hr/station

$35/hr – all equipment included
Torch Rental
$40/day per station

Schedule Rental Time
Call (303-274-0643) or email us to arrange your rental time. Or use our online booking calendar.  If you don’t speak directly with us, please include these details in your message:
• The date and time you’d like to rent
• The number of hours you’d like to rent
• Whether you want to use the large or small glory hole
• What you plan to make (generally—so we can plan for annealer space and plenty of glass in the pot!)
Please submit your request a week in advance. We’ll check our calendar and confirm as soon as possible! 

First-Time Renters
Before your first rental slot, we’d like to meet you—and hear about your experience in a hot-glass environment. Please bring pictures or physical samples of your work. C&H Glassworks is our full-time business; we rent our studio to proficient gaffers as a service to the local glassblowing community. Thanks in advance for respecting our space when you use our facility.

Need Assistance? Want to Assist?
We maintain a list of glassblowers in the local area. Should you require an assistant, we’re happy to share names—but it falls to you to coordinate with your potential assistant. 

Equipment List – Hot Shop/Cold Shop
• Large glory hole – 18″ wide x 28″ deep
• Small glory hole – 12″ wide x 18″ deep
• 150-lb capacity invested pot furnace
• 3 top loading annealers and 1 front loader
  • #1 is 40″ wide x 27″ high x 17″ long
  • #2 and #3 are 34″ wide x 22″ high x 20″ long
  • #4 is 24″ wide x 24″ deep x 48″ high (this is the front loader)
• pipe warmer
• hot head torch
• fire polishing break off station 
• 24″ 80 grit wheel
• 20″ magnetic pad wheel with pads from 80 grit up to pumice
• glass band saw with 5 3/4″ height clearance
• dynafile miniature belt sander
• tile saw with adjustable angle feature
• sandblasting cabinet 
Lamp Working Area
• 4 torch lampworking station, each station has a y splitter for additional torches, quick connects
• 2 Paragon F13 annealers
• You must provide your own tools if you plan on renting



Shop Etiquette

Please practice proper shop etiquette:
  • Be gentle with the pipes and punties.
  • Treat tools with respect.
  • Clean up after yourself. Leave your work station in the same state it was when you came in. 
  • Respect other people’s space in the shop.
  • Be smart about safety.

Our tools are available to renters at no additional cost as long as they are treated with the utmost respect.

Schedule Your Rental Time
You can schedule your time using our online booking calendar! 
Please schedule your rental time at least 7 days in advance! Should you have to cancel or 
reschedule a confirmed time slot, we require at least 48 hours advance notice.
